BACK NINE
Course Description | Front Nine
Hole #10 This demanding par 4 (420 yards) is severely sloped from left to right and puts a premium on your tee shot. Landing in this fairway is a must and an iron off the tee may provide you with the best result. A well-placed tee shot will leave you a mid to long iron shot uphill to a large green. Hole #11 A rather easy driving hole, this par 4 has a sharp dogleg right. By staying toward the left/center of this fairway you are in good position to attack this multi-tiered green.
Hole #13 # 13 is the longest hole at Eagle Knoll (556 yards) and is a true three shot par 5. A solid shot down the left side of this fairway will serve you well off the tee. A well-played second shot will leave you a short iron approach to this accessible green.
Hole #15 Perhaps the most demanding test of accuracy awaits you on this long par 4. Shots straying left or right will be quickly gathered up by the trees that line this narrow fairway. This sharp dogleg left requires a significantly right to left shaped tee shot. If successfully completed, your tee shot will leave you a mid-iron downhill to a bowl shaped green. Hole #16 Another elevation change awaits you on this challenging par 3. The green runs from left to right on an angle parallel to the creek guarding shots hit short of this green. Therefore, proper club selection requires thought regarding wind, elevation, and pin location as the front left of the green is much closer that the back right.
Hole #18 A championship-finishing hole awaits you on the par 4 18th. This hole plays uphill all the way and most often into a prevailing wind. A good tee shot will leave a long-iron or fairway wood into a undulating green. Bunkered on all sides with grass and sand, this deep green can play two clubs longer from front to back.
